KARACHI, March 23: A two-day conference of Chief Security Officers of Airport Security Force has concluded after discussing ways to further improve the overall security operations at various airports in the country.

The moot, which was held from March 20 to 22 in Karachi, was presided over by Director General ASF Brigadier Fiaz Ahmed Satti and attended by CSOs of all the airports.

The participants appreciated the role of ASF particularly the timely action of the ASF personnel to foil the February 6 terrorist attack at Islamabad Airport.

A coordination conference of the airport functionaries was also held on Thursday to discus security steps at the airports.

It was emphasised that security of airports was a collective responsibility and there was a need that everyone including visitors must contribute to make the airports secure.—Staff Reporter
