KARACHI, March 19: Three ships carrying containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where over a dozen ships, notable among them Orient Independence, Kota Merdesa, OEL Esteem, Victory, Pacific Express and Johar.Sailing was also active as a dozen ships, notably Oel Aishwarya, Cosco Panama, Bunga Torek, Kota Merdesa, Nazdan, Ocean Highway and Pacific Express departed, while San Jiang, Mol Kauri, Oel Esteem and Chatty Bottiglieri are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.204m tons comprising 60,050 tons of export cargo and 0.144m tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: APL Yokohama, Kota Gunawan and Hyundai Stride with containers.
