Section 144 extended

LAHORE, March 18: The Punjab government has directed all district governments in the province to extend Section 144 for another one month, till April 15, keeping in view the prevailing law and order situation in the country, says a handout.

As per instructions of the Punjab government, city district nazims of Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan and Gujranwala have extended Section 144 till April 15, under which ban has been imposed on holding of processions, rallies and corner meetings by political, religious and other organisations.
