New role for cueist Yousuf

KARACHI, March 17: Snooker celebrity Mohammad Yousuf will be seen in a new role when he accompanies Pakistan team as coach in the S. S. Kataria International Snooker tournament, being held at Dubai from April 8 to 14.

This is the first time in his illustrious career that he has been given a coaching responsibility by the game’s controlling body. The former world champion has recently signed a contract for the trip which was offered to him by PBSA.

PBSA plans to send reigning national champion, Naveen Perwani, former national champion, Khurram Agha and Imran Shehzad to the Dubai meet. The team is due to leave on April 6.

Meanwhile, all the national ranking players have also signed annual contracts offered to them prior to the recently concluded 32nd National Snooker Championship.
