KARACHI, March 17: Six ships including a car carrier and a rice loader are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Hayley, Nadhi to unload and load containers, San Jiang Kou, Islamabad, Leopard, Tess and Chetty Bottiglieri to unload and load general cargo were berthed, after the departure of APL Dalian, Brave John, Chitral, Gemini and Splendour.

Eight others, Hayley Nadhi, Oel Aishwarya, Cosco Panama, Bunga Terasek, Tess, Pacific Express, Kota Merdesa and Ocean Energy are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was light totalling 59,650 tons comprising 16,448 tons of export cargo including 4,002 tons of rice and 4,414 tons of cement and 43,202 tons of import cargo.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Ivan Makarin to load 8,800 tons of rice, Swat with crude oil, Victory-1, Kama Dhum with containers and Ocean Highway with cars.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Comorin Pride with containers and African Cobra with steel.
