Horse, cattle show from 21st

MULTAN, March 16: The three-day Horse and Cattle Show will be held here from March 21 to 23 as a part of Jashn-i-Baharan. Provincial Livestock Minister Haroon Sultan Bukhari will inaugurate the Horse and Cattle Show at Qila Kohna, Qasim Bagh, on 21 March at 10am.

The cattle, including sheep, goats, cows and buffalos will be shown during the event. Besides that, exhibition of agricultural instruments, dances of horses and camels, dog race, folk music, Makrani and Khattak dance and display of army band will be the part of the show.

Folk singer Shazia Khushk will perform on March 19 at Multan Arts Council at 8:30pm while Umar Sharif Show will be held on March 20.

Sports events like kabaddi, wrestling, bodybuilding and tug-of-war and a ‘Meena Bazaar’ for women will also be held.

A flower show will be held on Abdali Road.
