Six policemen booked

RAWALPINDI, March 15: Six policemen were booked by the Gangmandi police after a handcuffed accused escaped from their custody on Wednesday. Arshad Iqbal, booked by the Anti-Narcotics Force was under treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital and was being guarded by the policemen.

On Wednesday, the accused was found missing from the hospital bed which led to the registration of a case against the police officials.

The policemen were ASI Mohammad Yaquoob, constables Mohammad Arshad, Qamar Shahzad, Imran Shafqat, Mohammad Niaz and Mohammad Nafees.— Staff Reporter
