Four teams in league rounds

PESHAWAR, March 13: Lahore Whites, Rawalpindi, Dera Ghazi Khan, Abbottabad moved into the league rounds of the 54th National Hockey Championship here at the Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.

Lahore Whites, which lost the first match to Sargodha, showed better game against Bahawalpur in its second pool match by defeating the rivals 2-1.

Bannu fought well to earn a draw against Faisalabad by 0-0, Rawalpindi beat Dera Ismail Khan by 4-1, Dera Ghazi Khan beat Islamabad by 1-0 and Abbottabad shocked Lahore Colours 4-1.—APP
