Two cousins kidnapped for ransom

GUJRAT, March 13: Two cousins were allegedly kidnapped for Rs10 million ransom from Mandir locality of Kharian on Monday evening.

Hasnain Asghar and Mushahid of Chak Pirana were going to attend a marriage ceremony by a car (LRQ-9090). Near Mandir, four unidentified gunmen intercepted them and kidnapped them along with their car. They abandoned the car some miles away.

Later, they contacted the family and demanded Rs10 million ransom.

Kharian Saddar police have registered a case with no clue to the accused.

It is the fourth incident in the area of Kharian circle police in a short time.
