Lahore, March 12: Writers’ Circle will hold a literary sitting, Mukalma, at the German Cultural Centre on Wednesday. Salman Siddique will recite his poems and Nayar Iqbal Alvi will read out the urdu translation of a German short story. Bushra Jamal, a Pakistani poet living in Germany, will also recite her poems.

According to organisers, the Circle’s aim is to introduce the works of contemporary German writers and poets translated in Urdu, and to provide a platform to Pakistani Urdu and English writers to read out their works to fellow writers and literary buffs who also hold discussions on these.
