KARACHI: Environmental tribunal

KARACHI, March 12: Sindh Environment Minister Dr Saghir Ahmed said on Monday that the Environmental Tribunal would be made functional soon so that legal actions against violators of environmental laws could be taken. He said this while talking to a member of the environmental tribunal, Dr Sami-uz-Zaman, who called on him at his office. For early hearing of cases regarding pollution, a tribunal under Sub Article 12 of Environmental Protection Act 97 has been established, he said.—PPI
