KARACHI: Unregistered vehicles

KARACHI, March 12: Sindh Excise and Taxation Minister Shabir Ahmed Qaimkhani has asked vehicle owners to get their vehicles registered within next 15 days and warned that action would be taken against unregistered vehicles having fancy number plates. He urged citizens to avoid bringing their unregistered vehicles on roads and pay their all outstanding Motor Vehicle Tax dues. The minister said teams comprising excise officials would be constituted and deployed at various spots to check the documents of the vehicles. The documents would be seized in case of non-payment of dues, he added.—PPI
