KARACHI, March 10: An administrator has been appointed to conduct the Tariq Road Traders Welfare Association polls within 90 days. A suit was filed by a former president of the traders welfare association through Advocate Ziaul Haq Makhdoom saying that no elections had been held since the year, 2002.

He requested the court to appoint an administrator to hold the elections.

Allowing the plea, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain asked the registrar of the joint stock companies to nominate an official to run the traders welfare association’s affairs till the holding of polls. The registrar named an assistant registrar and the court disposed of the case.—Staff Reporter
