Punjab names badminton teams

LAHORE, May 9: Punjab has announced its men and women’s teams to defend the title in the 50th national badminton championship to be held at New Khan badminton hall from Friday. The teams were selected after holding trials on Friday.

The men team comprises Hashir Bashir, Rizwan Azam, Mohammad Ijaz, Atif Nadeem, Kashif Sulahri and Hafiz Irfan.

The women team includes Ayesha Akram, Sarah Mohmand, Anam Bilal, Sana, Noor.
