Police said Saima left her house after differences with her husband, Furqan, a couple of months ago and started living with her parents in Firdos Park, Gulshan-i-Ravi.

Furqan came to know that his wife was not staying with her parents and suspected that his mother-in-law had hidden her somewhere. On Friday, he visited his in-laws and attacked his mother-in-law, Hamidan, and her adopted daughter Sonia, 18, with a knife. They were rushed to hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
