ISLAMABAD, March 7: The City Circle police, Rawalpindi, have arrested 132 persons in the last four months for possessing heroin, charas, liquor, illegal weapons and counterfeit currency notes.

Giving out the data, the police said during this period, 21.5 kilograms of charas, 750 grams of heroin, and 2,656 bottles of liquor and 42 persons were arrested on the charge of possessing narcotics.

In its campaign against illegal arms, the police have seized illegal arms, including 13 pistols of 30-bore, five revolvers, and 35 rounds of ammunition and arrested 18 persons on charge of carrying illegal weapons.

The police have also raided gambling dens and arrested 71 persons and confiscated Rs72,260.

They also arrested a person for being in possession of fake currency worth Rs1,500.
