Man killed in oil tanker blast

QUETTA, March 7: A man was killed and two people were injured when an oil tanker caught fire following a bomb blast in the border town of Chaman on Wednesday afternoon.

A Levies official in Chaman said the blast blew up the oil tanker parked near the bypass injuring three people. One of the injured, identified as Saleemullah, died on the way to hospital.

The official said the tanker was carrying oil for the United States forces in Afghanistan.—Correspondent
