PESHAWAR, March 6: A widow from Shabqadar area of the Charsadda district has appealed to President Gen Pervez Musharraf, NWFP Governor Ali Mohammad Jan Aurakzai and Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani to provide security to her family.
Speaking at a press conference here on Tuesday, Ms Hameeda, widow of Liaquat Ali, of Mohallah Palangzai Matta Mughalkhel in Shabqadar, alleged that Khush Mohammad, Arshad and Shaukat, sons of Firdos Khan, of the same locality had killed her son Imdadullah two months ago.
They had killed Imdadullah on the pretext that her other son, Hameedullah, had an affair with their sister, she said, adding that they had also killed their sister and buried the body in their house.
She alleged that after three days they shifted the remains to Matta Mughalkhel graveyard.
Ms Hameeda said that her son was innocent and the other son too had no relations with the girl.
She said that police had not taken any action against the killers, who according to her, were influential people.
Ms Hameeda said that the killers were threatening to kill her other sons and family members and urged President Musharraf, NWFP governor and chief minister to help her family and provide protection.
