MIRAMSHAH, March 5: Suspected militants shot dead two tribesmen in the restive North Waziristan Agency on the charge of spying for the United States, sources said. The body of 30-year-old Qayum Shamiri Torikhel was found in the Ster Sarobi area on the Miramshah-Razmak road on Monday morning. Eyewitnesses said two bullet marks were found on the body. A chit found on the body read: “American spy will face the same fate.”

Another bullet-riddled body was found in a drain in the Datakhel area near Miramshah, the administrative headquarters of the North Waziristan Agency, on Monday. The victim was identified as Rahum Din Manzerkhel.

AFP adds: Security officials said the bullet-riddled body of 40-year-old Rahum Din was found with a note claiming that he was working as an “America spy”.
