Stallions maintain winning run

KARACHI, March 5: Fine batting by Shahzad Malik, Shahid Yousuf and Qaiser Abbas led the foundation of Sialkot Stallions’ fourth successive victory in the ABN-Amro One-day Gold League Cup at the National Stadium here on Sunday.

Shahzad (94 off 78 balls, nine fours and one six), Shahid 92 off 70 balls, seven fours and three sixes) and Qaiser (71 off 85 balls, eight fours) helped the Stallions piled up 317 for nine against Interloop Wolves Faisalabad, who were all out for 253 in reply.

Former Pakistan batsman Naved Latif, the Wolves skipper, hit a 78-ball 75 with five fours and three sixes.
