National Badminton from 16th

LAHORE, March 5: The 50th Golden Jubilee National Badminton Championships will be held at Iqbal Park Sports Complex here from March 16-25. Besides the events for Seniors, on all six days, the competitions in U-19 and U-16 boys and girls events will also be held from March 16 to 18.

Over 200 players from 12 affiliated units of the Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF) will be competing in the competition with a total cash prize of Rs 200,000 at stake. Managers’ meeting for junior events will be held on March 15 at 4.00pm and for senior events on March 18.

Wajid Ali and Asma Butt will be defending champions in the men's and ladies singles events. Wapda's shuttlers will be defending their titles in both men's and ladies team events.
