KARACHI, March 5: City Nazim Mustafa Kamal has directed the authorities concerned to make arrangement on priority basis to provide parking facility to people visiting Bagh Ibne Qasim.

The nazim issued these directives during a surprise visit to the recently-inaugurated Bagh Ibne Qasim where he met a large number of visitors.

He inspected various portions of the park and asked the officials concerned to identify separate places for parking of motorcycles and cars of visitors. Besides, he directed the District Officer (Parks) to establish more toilets in the park to provide maximum facilities to the visitors.

Meanwhile, the nazim informed a 16-member delegation of journalists from Azad Kashmir that the city government was paying full attention to all parts of the city and the development work was being carried out in all areas without any discrimination.

He said the city government was addressing all lingering issues on equality basis.

He said investors from different parts of the world were coming to Karachi and US$1.2 billion investment had been made so far.

The delegation, led by Ramzan Chughtai, appreciated the pace of development projects and lauded the cooperation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement and people of Karachi after the October 2005 earthquake in Kashmir.
