Women’s tennis from 8th

KARACHI, March 2: Two leading players - Nida Waseem and Sara Mehboob – are among others who have confirmed their participation in the Rs200,000 Subh-e-Nau Pakistan’s Women’s Open tennis championship which begins at Islamabad Club courts from March 8, organisers announced on Friday.

Besides the main Open event, ladies’ doubles, veteran’s singles and girls U-15 singles will also be organised during the three-day event.

The prize money would be disbursed among players in accordance with International Tennis Federation (ITF) rules aimed at providing maximum incentives to participants, says the announcement.
