KARACHI: DAE results announced

KARACHI, March 2: The Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Karachi on Friday announced the results of Diploma of Associate Engineer second year evening annual examinations held in November 2006.

According to an SBTE notification, as many as 6,063 candidates appeared in the exams and 3,670 were declared successful and the pass percentage remained at 60.53. Results can be viewed at the SBTE website www.sbte-edu.net.

The SBTE also announced the schedule for receipt of examination forms and fee for the DAE third year annual exams 2007.

The exam forms would be received through institutes at the board office by March 15 with regular fee and from March 22 with a late fee of Rs150 while the late fee would be enhanced up to Rs250 from March 28.

Forms would also be received up to April 3 from March 29 with a late fee of Rs500. No examination form would be received after April 3, 2007.

Students have been advised to enclose photocopies of the registration cards and all marks sheets of previous examinations to avoid withholding of their results.—Staff Reporter
