LAHORE, March 1: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi says the loss of precious lives on Basant is deplorable. He said this while distributing relief cheques among the heirs of those killed during Basant festival, at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Thursday.
The chief minister said most of the deaths were caused by aerial firing.
He said he equally shared the grief of the bereaved families. —APP
