KARACHI, Feb 28: Eleven coaches — eight in athletics and three in badminton – passed the PSB Intermediate Coaching Course for the two games which concluded at the National Sports Training and Coaching Centre on Wednesday.

The course which lasted for five days was attended by 30 coaches from Sindh and Balochistan.

The successful candidates have qualified to attend advance course being held at Islamabad in the near future.

Dr. Waheed Mughal, Mohammad Talib, Zahid Rizvi, and Javed Iqbal were among others who delivered lectures to the participants.

Speaking on the occasion, director general of the PSB, Lt. Col Salahuddin, said the purpose of conducting such courses was aimed at imparting latest knowledge in the field of coaching to participants.

Those who have passed the course are Adeeb Alam, Tanveer Hussain, Anwar Ali Chandio, Zulfiqar Ali, Rao M. Javed, Ms Qudsia Kanwal, Ms Shaheena and Ms Amna Mukhtar (athletics), Riffat Mohiuddin, Salahuddin Usmani and M. Saeedul Haq (badminton).
