85 revellers set on bail

GUJRANWALA, Feb 27: As many as 85 youths who had been arrested on charges of kite flying and aerial firing from different parts of the city about two days ago, were released by a local court following accepting their bail applications here on Tuesday.

Reports said the City District Government Gujranwala (CDG-G) had banned the Basant festival. The police arrested 85 violators and sent them behind the bars after registration of cases against them. The court ordered them to submit surety bonds worth Rs50,000 each.
