LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), Feb 27: The Khyber Agency political administration has constituted a four-member supervisory committee for the execution of development schemes sanctioned under the Bara Development Package.

The government had under the package allocated Rs82.70 million for various development schemes in Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency. The committee includes Haji Ekhtiar Shah (councillor), Yar Asghar (trader), Nasrullah Afridi (journalist) and Malik Mohammad Ali.

The committee will keep an eye on the quality of construction material and utilisation of funds. The committee will report its findings to the political agent.

Under the package, five new checkposts will be built for the Khasadar force alongside the construction of a press club for local journalists, a public library and a number of tubewells.
