Nearly 800 behind bar

LAHORE, Feb 25: Police on Sunday arrested nearly 800 people from different parts of the city after registering cases against them on the charges of indulging in aerial firing, violating kite-flying rules and resorting to hooliganism.

Of the arrested, 600 were accused of indulging in aerial firing

According to a handout, police also seized a large number of illegal arms, prohibited string and 170 bottles of liquor from hooligans. —Staff Reporter
