KARACHI, Feb 24: Seven ships including a car carrier, with 145 units are due to arrive at the outer anchorage during the next two days, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Kota Perkasa, Pac Antlia, to unload and load containers and R.M Dynasty to offload coal were berthed on Saturday.

Only an oil tanker Johar departed on Saturday, while Sagamore, Kota Perkasa, Orient Independence, Bunga Delima Swat, Julitta, and Oel Esteem are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total volume of 0.159m tons comprising 37,963 tons of export cargo including 2,700 tons of rice and 0.121m tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due during the next two days: Scan Atlantic, Magway, with general cargo, Couga Race, with 145 units, Arisbe, with 17,500 tons of steel scrap, Corn Thaikos, Mol Kauri and Wester More, with containers.
