Removal of SHO sought

MIRPURKHAS, Feb 23: A large number of residents of Shadi Palli town took out a procession and staged a demonstration outside the press club to protest against atrocities of the SHO of Shadi Palli police station on Friday.

Led by HRCP activist Sarvan Kumar, the participants marched through main thoroughfares and reached the press club where they staged a demonstration.

Carrying placards and banners, the protesters raised slogans against the SHO. They were demanding transfer of the SHO and an inquiry against him.

Talking to journalists, Abdul Rasheed Shar, Sattar Nohani, Sarwan Kumar, Ghani and Asghar Narejo alleged that SHO Kamal Khan Nohri had been registering false cases against innocent people.
