KARACHI, Feb 22: A division bench of the Sindh High Court comprising Chief Justice Sabihuddin Ahmed and Justice Faisal Arab on Thursday dismissed a petition filed by the God’s People Fellowship of Pakistan, a Christian organisation, for special permission to visit sacred places in Jerusalem.

Ashraf Pervez Bhatti, General-Secretary of the organisation submitted that there were holy places in Jerusalem for Muslims, Christians and Jews and Christians in Pakistan wanted to visit their sacred places.

After hearing arguments of the petitioner’s counsel, the bench dismissed the petition, observing that it was a matter of diplomatic relations and did not come in the SHC’s jurisdiction.—PPI
