KARACHI: Power cuts continue

KARACHI, Feb 22: Residents of various localities complained of power breakdowns on Thursday. Reports of power cuts were received from SITE area, Musharraf Colony, National Stadium, Federal B area, North Karachi, Labour Flats Landhi, Orangi Town and Gulistan Jauhar.

Most of the complainants said that the power supply was suspended time and again with short intervals which badly affected their business activities.

Meanwhile the KESC has announced power shutdown schedule for Friday stating that power supply may be interrupted from 9am to 5pm in North Nazimabad blocks D, E, F, G, J, I and K, Gulshan-i-Iqbal blocks 5,13-G, Ziaul Haq Colony, Nursery Corporation, 7 OCKS College, Hazara Colony, Kohati Chowk, Kausar Niazi Colony, Fateh Bagh of Malir, Bhingoria Town of Gulberg, Garden Area, Korangi Industrial Area, and SITE Industrial Area.
