KARACHI, Feb 19: The Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research and its associate organisation in India have made arrangements to facilitate the relatives of the victims of Samjhota Express tragedy who want to travel to India.

In a statement issued on Monday, Karamat Ali and B.M Kutty of the PILER said they had spoken to Nirmala Deshpande, member of Indian parliament in this regard. Through her organisation, the Association of People’s of Asia, Nirmala Deshpande had made arrangements to facilitate the victims’ relatives who wished to travel to India to bring back bodies or look after the injured there and bring them back home.

Condemning the bomb blast in the Samjhota Express that left over 70 dead and several others injured, Karamat Ali, B. M. Kutty and Deshpande had said, “Only those who do not want to see peace process between the two countries can be involved in such crimes.”
