Prisoner flees

LARKANA, Feb 18: An under trial prisoner Hakim Ali Chandio remanded in police custody in a murder case escaped from the lock up of Drigh police station in Qambar-Shahdadkot district early on Sunday.

He was arrested two days ago and remanded in police custody for three days in the murder case of Ghulam Rasool Chandio in Karachi, sources said.

The DPO visited the police station and suspended SHO Aijaz Massan, Assistant Sub-Inspector Dost Mohammed Leghari, constables Allah Warayo Soomro and Aitbar Khoso and filed a case on charges of negligence against them.
