Inter-school festival from tomorrow

KARACHI, Feb 10: Players representing nine leading educational institutions of the city are to compete in Inter-school sports festival which runs at Habib Public School from Feb 12 to 25.

“The festival envisaged indoor events namely volleyball, basketball, table tennis and badminton and marks the formal commissioning of multi-million rupees gymnasium which was completed last year,” director sports of the school, Shabih Abbas, said on Saturday.

The significant thing is that no entry fee is being charged from competing schools.

The institutions are St. Patrick’s School, City School PAF Chapter, Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus, Foundation Public School, Lyceum School, SKBZ Public School, Nasra School, SMS Agha Khan School F. B. Area and the hosts Habib Public School.
