KARACHI: Symposium on pollution

KARACHI, Feb 10: The Dow University of Health Sciences will hold its 3rd annual symposium from February 23 to 26. The theme is ‘Environmental Pollution – A Silent Killer’.

According to Prof M. Zaman Shaikh, chairman of the symposium’s organising committee, many foreign and local experts from various disciplines of medicine and surgery will deliberate upon the issue at the international conference.

He confirmed the participation of Dr Karen Slama (Paris); Dr Sultan Pardhan, Dr Aneel Arora and Dr Dara from India; Dr Yasmeen Ruhga and Dr Heera Lal Maheesh from USA; and Prof Paul Thornalley, Prof John Kelly, Dr Aftab Anwar and Dr Mazher Khan from UK.
