KARACHI, Feb 10: City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal on Saturday inaugurated a three-day Business and Investment Gala (BIG), organised by the E-Commence Gateway in Expo Centre.

The City Nazim said over 300 delegates from 25 countries are participating in this three-day mega exhibition which will increase foreign investment in the city and create job opportunities for local youth, said a statement issued by the Nazim’s Secretariat.

Delegates from different countries, including Kuwaiti under-secretary, ministry of commerce and industry, Rasheed S.Y. Al Tabtabael, President, E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan, Sardar Khursheed Niza, and other senior governmental functionaries were present.

The Nazim also visited the stalls set up by Turkey, Malaysia, China, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and also exchanged views with delegates regarding investment climate.

The city government’s various departments, including the Transport and Communication, Mass Transit, Information Technology, Education, Malir and Lyari development authorities, Heath, Enterprises and Investment Promotion, Karachi Water and Sewerage Board and others have also set up stalls in the exhibition.
