LAHORE, Feb 9: Lahore Shalimar, who are certain to be relegated next season, obtained an unlikely first-innings lead of 13 runs against Rawalpindi in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League tie at the LCCA Ground on Friday.

Resuming at 291 for five, Lahore Shalimar were all out for 343 while losing the remaining five wickets for 52 runs on the third day. Medium-pacer Yasir Arafat bowled superbly to claim six for 84.

Rawalpindi were 71 for three in their second innings when stumps were drawn for the day soon after tea because of bad light.
