Multan clinch Level-II final

ISLAMABAD, Feb 9: Multan won the PCB Level-II National Inter-Region Cricket Championship, defeating Islamabad by seven wickets in the four-day final at the Mirpur (AJK) Cricket Stadium on Friday.

After gaining a 107-run first-innings lead, Multan bowled Islamabad out for 137 in their second innings and then reached the required target of 31 for the loss of three wickets on the last day of the final.

Multan’s Ansar Javed finished with 4-31 in the Islamabad second innings while his fellow fast bowlers Mohammad Zahid and Sajjad Hussain captured 3-38 and 2-63 respectively.
