NOWSHERA, Feb 9: Customs authorities on Friday seized 250 kg charas from a vehicle near Khairabad, while smugglers escaped, officials said.

Assistant Collector Zubair Shah told reporters that acting on a tip about the attempt to smuggle drug to Punjab, a mobile team signalled the driver of a land cruiser to stop for checking but they ran away, leaving the vehicle behind.
