Man, wife in mysterious death

LARKANA, Feb 9: A man and his wife died in mysterious conditions after complaining of abdominal pain in the Luhar village on the outskirts of Larkana on Friday.

Reports reaching here said that Ladho Khan Luhar, 40, died after complaining of abdominal pain. Moments later his wife Ms Zarina too died in the same conditions.

Nizamuddain, father of Ms Zarina, alleged that his daughter’s in laws had poisoned them and were now trying to cover up their crime by insisting the couple had died of natural causes.

The allegation prompted taluka police to move the bodies to the Chandka Medical College Hospital.
