KARACHI: Power cuts continue

KARACHI, Feb 8: Residents of numerous localities across the city suffered intermittent and prolonged power outages here on Thursday due to what the KESC claimed to be maintenance work.

Power failures were reported from Gulistan-i-Jauhar, PECHS, Orangi, Federal B Area, Korangi Industrial Area, Defence, Al-Karam Square and Punjab Colony.

There will be a power shutdown on Friday from 9am to 5pm for system improvement work in Defence Khayaban-i-Mujahid 30th street, Defence View 1, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, KDA Officer Society, National Stadium, Moach Goth, Qaim Khani Colony, Ittehad Town, Mohammad Khan Colony, Saeedabad, Baldia Town, North Karachi sectors 5D,5J ,6 B and Korangi Industrial area sector 28.
