Councillors form alliance

LARKANA, Feb 7: The councillors of union councils from Qambar and Nasirabad formed an alliance on Wednesday with an aim to seek more development funds for their areas.

Haji Khan Chajiro, Moosa Mahar, Zahid Lakho and other councillors gathered in Qambar and decided to form the alliance. Later, they took out a procession which ended at the local press club.

Talking to journalists, they accused the nazims of union councils in Qambar-Shahdadkot district of continuously ignoring them while allocating budget for development works.

They said the nazims were reminded time and again for a judicious treatment to councillors belonging to their groups and those sitting in the opposition camp but to no avail.

They were neglected so much so that in years together they could not carry out development work in their areas, they said.
