Afghan held at airport

PESHAWAR, Feb 6: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday held an Afghan national at Peshawar airport before he could board a London-bound Emirates flight by using the passport of some other.

An FIA official said the suspect, Syed Tameem of Kabul, had confessed during interrogation to changing the photograph on the passport. He said he had purchased the passport bearing the name of Farid Ahmad of Kabul for 260,000 afghanis.—APP
