Robbers, thieves continue strikes

LAHORE, Feb 4: Robbers and thieves struck many times in the city and took away cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees on Sunday.

Four robbers barged into a general store at Pir Colony in Factory Area, held the owner at gunpoint and took away Rs100,000 in cash, calling cards worth Rs50,000 and other valuables.

Similarly, two robbers in Toheed Park, Gulshan Ravi, took away Rs6,000, calling cards worth Rs10,000 and four cell phones from a book shop.

In PCSIR society, Jauher Town, robbers burst into a house, held the inmates at gunpoint and escaped with cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.

Unidentified robbers came to Haji Taufail’s house at Jiya Moosa in Shahdra and escaped with loot worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.

Robbers barged into a house near tube-well in Harbanspura and made off with cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
