FAISALABAD, Feb 4: The first national conference on prospects of Ethno-Veterinary Medicine in Pakistan will be held at University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Feb 16 and 17.

Prof Dr Zafar Iqbal, the chairman of Ethno-Veterinary Research and Development Center, Department of Veterinary Parasitology, UAF, said objectives of this conference was to devise ways and means for documentation of indigenous EVM practices and their scientific validation besides initiating the process of developing a directory of individuals, organisations, and industries involved in traditional health practices with particular reference to animal health and production. — APP
