PESHAWAR, Feb 4: Federal Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Sherpao has said that his party’s election campaign will be launched on Feb 8, with the renewal of pledge made to Hayat Sherpao about serving the masses.

In a statement issued from Tangi (Charsadda) on Sunday, he said that Hayat Sherpao and Pakistan People’s Party-Sherpao workers were linked in a perpetual spiritual relationship and the ultimate sacrifice given by him (Hayat) for the cause of masses would always warm the hearts of leaders and workers of the party.

Mr Sherpao expressed his belief that as always party workers would pay tribute to their martyred leader in a befitting manner by commemorating his 32nd death anniversary with exemplary zeal and zest.

He said the short but the revolutionary and selfless political career of Hayat Sherpao gave Pukhtuns and this region a national and world recognition which was matter of great pride for workers and leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party-S.

Mr Sherpao emphasized on party workers the need of displaying impeccable discipline and patience to make the anniversary an epochal success.
