Internship programme approved

ISLAMABAD, Feb 2: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Friday approved the National Internship Programme (NIP) under which people completing 16 years of education, with last two years at institutions recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), and who are aged 25 years or less will be provided internship and paid a stipend of Rs.10,000 per month by the government for 12 months. The programme was approved at a meeting here.—Staff Reporter
