DIG (operations) Mohammad Aslam Tareen has announced cash prizes for the policemen who arrested the accused.

CDG MOTION: The city district council unanimously passed a motion against the Lyalpur town decision to construct 57 shops around the Ladies Park.

The council meeting was held here on Wednesday under convener Mian Amjad Yasin.

A house member presented the motion stating that the park was established a couple of years ago to provide recreational facilities to women. However, he said, the town administration was going to establish shops there instead of improving the park. He said a resolution in this regard had also been passed by the town.

The convener, declaring the plan annulled, barred the town administration from carrying out the decision.

During the session, many nazims and house members expressed their concern over the deteriorated sanitation and cleanliness in the town. They deplored that officials concerned were not ready to improve their performance.

The chair asked the solid waste management wing to present their sanitation plan in the house.
